Homebound Delivery
Books on the Run brings library materials to residents who can't visit a branch — temporarily or long-term. A cooperative program of Jefferson County Library and NextStep for Life.
How Books on the Run works
Contact your branch
Register by phone or mail through your local branch. You'll need a valid library card — we can help you get one.
Share your wish list
General areas of interest or specific titles and authors — and let us know whenever your preferences change.
Enjoy your delivery
We'll call for directions and to set the date and time of your first delivery. A staff member drops off your picks and collects returns once or twice a month, on a delivery schedule we'll give you.
